With the need to have a pleasant entrance to Hurstbridge, Wild Wombat was established in August 2008. Since then, Wild Wombat has grown by name dramatically through word of mouth, with people travelling far and wide to sample the vast menu of homemade food, homemade cakes and a vast range of local, interstate and overseas beers and wines and not to forget the premium blend of coffee.

Regulars were established quickly, with a few celebrities both local and interstate paying a visit as well.
